Our lovely clients at Nanny Recruit are looking for caring, experienced, fun and engaging live in nannies to take care of their children on a full time basis.

Candidates should be enthusiastic but understand when to take direction from the parents and when to step back and allow the family to have their own space together. In some cases, families may employ additional household staff such as a cleaner. However, your role as the full time childcarer would be split approximately 70-80% nannying and 20-30% housekeeping and light cooking for the children. Having newborn experience is advantageous, but not essential, but you should be passionate about educational play and helping with the children’s personal development.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• All nursery duties relating to any newborns in your care
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the children and to assist with any additional support during mealtimes.
• Providing educational play with the children whenever possible to aid their personal development.
• Support the parents in creating and establishing routines.
• Light housekeeping of the family home.
• Supporting the parents with regular grocery shopping and assisting with errands as required.

Specifications:

• Access to your own vehicle is advantageous, but not essential. If you do have a valid UK driving licence is must be clean.
• Accommodation will be provided.
• Experience working with children of varying ages. Previous experience working with and caring for newborns is also advantageous.
• Hours will typically be Monday-Friday with varying start time depending on the families requirements.
• You must hold a valid, clean Enhanced DBS check.
• Qualifications in childcare are preferred but not essential.
• Paediatric first aid training is also preferred but not essential.
• You may be required to travel with the family abroad as part of your childcare responsibilities.
• Salaries to be confirmed at interview.
